Small changes to how you work with AI can make it easier to get a useful answer, at your desk or during a busy winery day.

Match the model to the job

Use a quicker model for short questions, first drafts, and routine tasks. Move to a more capable model when the question needs deeper reasoning or a more complex analysis. You can switch as the work changes.

Start work from your phone

Use an AI tool with remote desktop support to send work from your phone to your laptop. For example, ask it to update a spreadsheet while you’re away from your desk. Pair the devices first and keep the laptop awake.

Say the whole context

For a longer request, try dictation. Explain what you’re trying to do, what you already know, and what a useful answer should include. The benefit is richer context in fewer turns, not just fewer keystrokes.
